I tried to install ezfind extension on my notebook but my hardware is not so good, but I have this question, does it search PDF content too?

What kind of files content does it search? PDF, ppt, doc, xls?

eZ Find depends on Exponential for handling binary files. Documentation for setting up indexing of PDF, doc, xls, etc. can be found here: http://ez.no/Exponential/documentation/configuration/configuration/search_engine/configuring_binary_file_indexing
